At Cornerstone's Cabin Rentals and Lodge we offer three great cabins and a large Lodge with awesome views overlooking our open field, meandering streams and ponds. We are located in a near-perfect spot just a mile or so from the stoplight in Banner Elk, the Banner Elk Town Park, the Chamber of Commerce and lots of unique shoppes, great restaurants, cafes and delis - as well as all of the attractions of the area.
Our rentals are pet friendly. We are able to accommodate up to 33 people. The Cornerstone property provides large groups to enjoy the creeks, ponds, and fire pit.
We are 10-15 minutes from the Ski resorts, Elk River Club, Diamond Creek, Mountain Glen Golf Club, Grandfather Moutain and Golf Club, Linville Golf Club. The Banner Elk Winery is less than a mile from us. Grandfather Vineyard and Linville Falls Winery are all a short drive.
For the adventure types the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster has been a guest favorite and is a 4 mile drive. The area offers an immense amount of hiking trails, water falls and water sports. Edge of the World and High Mountain Expeditions to name a few just minutes from us.
For the more laid back come enjoy a weekend of fishing. The area offers fly fishing tours as well as local fishing streams and ponds.
The Lees-McRae College alumni and families enjoy the Cabins and Lodge to gather and have meals and memories when visiting the beautiful campus.
The Ski resorts and golf courses are only minutes away and we're just 5-10 minutes from the Woolly Worm Festival, Highland Games and Valle Fair festivities and grounds. Horseback riding stables are within a mile of our rentals as is great hiking and walking trails, fall color walks and more.
